Holds degree in Zootechnical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, with training in food quality and safety, specializing in microbiological and physicochemical analyses and risk assessment applied to the control of pathogenic microorganisms in food.
Has participated in national and international conferences and has published scientific articles.
At the Mountain Research Center (CIMO), was involved in several research projects in food microbiology, actively contributing to the development of innovative solutions to enhance microbiological safety and food sustainability.
