Filipe Mota holds a degree in Bioengineering and a Master’s degree in Biological Engineering from the Faculty of Engineerirng of the University of Porto. He has experience in developing lipid-based nanoparticles, antimicrobial and antibiofilm agents, as well as fermentation-based products. His background is focused on bioprocess engineering, including process control, scale-up concepts and operational support of industrial biological processes. He currently works as a Research Technician in the Bio-based Products and Processes area, where he is involved in the DiVINA project.
