Natércia Fernandes holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering by the University of Coimbra since 2007.  At MORE CoLAB, she manages projects in the Group of Agro-Based Products and Processes.  Her technical skills include the multiscale analysis of industrial processes, namely their modelling/computational simulation, automatic control and optimization of operating conditions.  She has experience in the analysis of mass transfer, energy transfer and chemical reaction phenomena in different production lines.  She is skilled in the preparation of proposals for funding and in the management and execution of research, innovation and enterpreunership projects, particularly in cooperation with industry.  She has experience in scientific supervision and in the preparation and management of intelectual/industrial property assets.  She also has experience in the oral and written communication of scientific and technical matters, either in academic contexts or in research, technology transfer or informal environments.
