Project summary
The SUDOE area is characterised, on the one hand, by rural and inland areas facing demographic decline, reflected in the lack of job and service opportunities; and, on the other, by urban centres along coastal strips, densely populated and concentrating activities and employment.
The project seeks to revitalize rural and inland areas, create economic opportunities and ensure generational renewal, by supporting the creation and consolidation of food, associative or cooperative third places. These places bring together heterogeneous groups around agroecological production and sustainable food activities, while introducing diverse innovations by and for all.
By valuing learning-by-doing and participatory processes, the project will contribute to strengthening social ties. Economic development and employment will be leveraged by promoting entrepreneurship, the creation of shared tools and cooperation.
