General Objective: To transform the construction sector into an inclusive field for women, through innovative vocational education and training (VET) programmes that combat gender bias.

Specific Objectives / Main Goals:

  • Develop educational actions that combat prejudice;
  • Increase the participation and retention of women in the sector;
  • Promote industry-wide inclusion;
  • Create support networks for women.

We will implement the development of professional training programs, trainer training, feedback sessions with industry partners, mentoring programs and the creation of a digital platform for collaborative learning. The planned activities include workshops, surveys, feedback gathering, adaptation of training content and stakeholder engagement events, with the aim of promoting gender inclusion in education and training for the construction sector.

Significant improvement is expected in the inclusion of gender in vocational training programmes in the area of construction, the strengthening of mentoring and support networks, the strengthening of links between industry and education sector, as well as a broad involvement of various stakeholders. Among the expected results are the updating of training programs, the training of teaching professionals, the active involvement of industry partners and the creation of a support community that encourages and promotes the success of women in their careers in the construction sector.
