Project description | EdgeOnVespa seeks to address the challenge of the Asian hornet by developing an innovative integrated technological system that uses artificial vision (edge computing), deep learning algorithms, and eco-conscious methods for its neutralization.

  • 1) Develop models capable of detecting, identifying, and tracking the Asian hornet using artificial vision and machine learning algorithms;
  • 2) Develop an integrated system for monitoring and neutralizing the Asian hornet;
  • 3) Validate the developed process for monitoring and neutralizing the Asian hornet on a relevant scale.
